trong lúc tìm kiếm thông tin du học trên mạng,mình nhận thấy một điều là học bổng dành cho ngành y tế rất chi là khiêm tốn,thông tin ít ỏi,mà hình như các anh chị du học ngành này không nhiều,quả là thiệt thòi lớn so với những ngành khác.Hi vọng là sau khi box thành lập sẽ nhận được sự quan tâm chia sẻ thông tin,kinh nghiệm và sự động viên của các anh chị đã từng apply ngành này thành công cho những lứa đàn em ôm mộng du học PH[như e chẳng hạn]

International Health Degree Programme
The European Master of Science Programme in International Health is part of tropEd, a network of 33 European and 7 non-European institutions for higher education. In existence since 1996, tropEd collaborates closely with institutions in Asia, Africa, and the Americas in providing postgraduate education and training opportunities.
The European Master of Science Programme in International Health is a one year, full-time study programme taught in English excepted in Mexico (in spanish). The main objective of the programme is to raise awareness of current global health concerns. Students become qualified to identify and critically analyse key factors shaping the health and well-being of populations in low- and middle-income countries and to formulate effective and appropriate responses to complex health-related issues.
The tropEd EMMC is offered by 7 European Institutions, and 3 Third Country Institutions, each contributing with Specific expertise in a particular area of International Health:

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Description If you are a non-EU student (Category A):
Contribution to travel, installation and any other type of costs: € 4000
Maximum contribution to the EMMC participation costs (including insurance coverage):
€ 4000 / semester
Monthly allowance: € 1000 / month
If you are an EU student inside the EU (Category B):
Maximum contribution to the EMMC participation costs (including insurance coverage):
€ 2000 / semester
Monthly allowance: € 500 / month
If you are an EU student outside the EU (Category B):
Contribution to travel, installation and any other type of costs: € 3000
Maximum contribution to the EMMC participation costs (including insurance coverage):

Monthly allowance: € 500 / month
Participation costs must be understood as any compulsory administrative/operational cost related to the participation of the student in the EMMC (e.g. library, laboratory, tuition, social security and insurance costs, etc.). Any other costs that may be charged in addition (e.g. for participation in fieldwork activities), being compulsory or voluntary, must be communicated to the candidate student at application stage.
Monthly allowance amounts may be increased in order to cover the additional costs of students with special needs; EMMCs will have to inform the Agency accordingly in the context of their annual student scholarship applications.
Caterory A
Scholarships can be awarded to masters students selected by EMMC consortia who came from a country other than an eligible applicant country and who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc., ...) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries.
Category B
Scholoarships can be awarded to any maters students selected by EMMC consortia and who do not fulfil the Category A criteria defined above. Application

You are a graduate student from a Third Country (all countries of the world excepted the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia). Application Checklist

Annex 2: All academic degrees or professional diplomas and academic transcripts. All documents have to be certified or notarized. Simple photocopies will NOT be accepted.
Annex 3: 1-2 page draft thesis proposal
Annex 4: Hand-written and signed explanation of your own composition stating why you would like to attend the programme and how this programme will help you in your work and career (1 page, A4 format). This letter should only contain your personal motivation for attending this programme, your professional goals, your personal career objectives and how this programme will help you achieve them.
Annex 5: Two strongly convincing, confidential recommendation letters. Letters can be sent independently by an academic and professional body or sealed and signed by the referee and posted together with other application documents in the same envelope.
Annex 6: TOEFL or IELTS results (minimum requirement: TOEFL 550/213/79-80; IELTS 6.0) or, for those who studied in an Anglophone country, an official letter stating that your university studies were undertaken in English.
Annex 7: Work certificate covering at least 24 months (full time) of professional experience in a low or middle-income country.
Annex 8: School-leaving certificate (university entrance qualification)
Annex 9: 2 passport-sized photographs with the name on the backside
Annex 10: A copy of your passport showing date & place of issue, expiration date and personal details.

VEF có cho ngành Public Health mà.
Mà sao chit lại quản lý các em PH mấy năm? Không lẽ trước khi sang Mỹ chit đã từng vài năm ngồi ở bệnh viện quản lý hồ sơ của các em sinh viên thực tập?

Grass làm tụt cả cảm hứng ... bốc phét của mình. Evil]. À, em sunshine sửa lại PH thành Public Health để mọi người biết được PH là cái gì. Không phải ai cũng biết được topic này nằm trong Public Health.

5/2010 này mình sang học ở Mahidol, Thailan. Có bạn nào từng học Master of PH ở đấy chưa nhẩy
Hi, tôi không học PH cũng không phải sv Mahidol nhưng từng sống gần nửa năm ở Salaya campus của Mahidol PH faculty và nhậu nhẹt với mấy khoá SV VN học PH tại đó gần một năm . Nếu bạn cần thì tôi có thể giới thiệu cho vài người.
Hơ, mấy hôm ko vào, PH giờ ra thành thớt riêng rồi, oách nhẩy. Có thể sắp tới sẽ chứng kiến xu hướng ly khai ồ ạt của social sciences từ econ đến sociology mà có khi cả anthro ko biết chừng (mong là thế) [r32)]
Học bổng PH ko ít, thật ra là khá dư dả. Lấy VEF làm thí dụ, chỉ tiêu cho PH trung bình ở mức 15% hoặc có thể hơn. Tuy nhiên dân học PH thường cảm thấy mình ko phải nằm trong 1 main stream đường hoàng mà có vẻ chỉ là 1 branch vật vờ. Random thoughts 1 vài lý do:
- Chương trình đào tạo chính quy tương đối non trẻ hơn các ngành khác.
- Thiếu mạng lưới trao đổi thông tin. Liên quan đến trao đổi thông tin, có hiện tượng này chưa biết cắt nghĩa thế nào. Theo quan sát của mình thì thấy 1 số ngành khác sinh viên khóa sau biết nhiều về khóa trước hơn so với sinh viên PH, ông nào rất giỏi ông nào giỏi ông nào hơi giỏi.
- 1 số loại học bổng PH gần như tailor-made, thí dụ Forgaty cho NIHE, Ford cho HSPH. Cánh làm trong nhà nước có ưu thế hơn ở 1 số loại học bổng như 322, ADS.
Mấy lời quê kệch có lời nào nói ngu các tiên sinh đừng trách. Vào gym đã
PS: Nhờ mod sửa lại cho chuẩn hơn là y tế công cộng, ko phải là cộng đồng. Từ công cộng liên quan đến tầm nhìn và phương pháp tiếp cận của ngành khoa học này, trong khi cộng đồng mang ý nghĩa là đối tượng mà nó hướng đến.
